I brought my 2009 Traverse in for a recall...

I brought my 2009 Traverse in for a recall and regular service. I am completely satisfied with the service and staff with those items. However, I had one other problem that I wanted to have looked at, noise in the steering wheel when turning it at very slow speeds and at a stop. I would like to have been given an idea at check-in what the diagnostic costs (estimate would have been fine) for that problem would be. It definately would have helped me to decide whether to have the diagnosis done. I felt it was a minor thing and not a safety hazard or anything significant. After the diagnosis was done, I was told it cost $85. I have no problem paying for the diagnosis because I know labor time = $$$ and I asked for it, but I feel it is important to know approximately how much up front. The explanation of the problem and fix was very thorough and professional and I do very much appreciate that.

I purchased a new 2013 Equinox and my salesman, Bob Bernet was more than helpful as was the rest of the staff. My wife and I have been dealing with Bob Fisher Chev since the 1970's and her parents for many years before that. I guess that should answer any questions about how we feel about that dealership. I didn't even shop around when deciding to by my new vehicle, why should I? They treat us well and the service department is just great. They deserve an "adaboy".
