Silverado 1500 is the only truck in it's class that offers a diesel engine. 
RAM 1500's 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine has 305 horsepower, 269 lb-ft of torque, max towing of 7,480 lbs, with 19 /24 MPG as RAM's best fuel economy, but is only available in the Tradesman and Big Horn models.  RAM 1500's 3.0L Hurricane engine has 420 hp, 469 lb-ft of torque, and max towing of 11,450 lbs, while the Hurricane HO engine supports only 9,920 lbs towing and 1,520 lbs payload. All RAM 1500 trucks are equipped with 8-speed, not a 10-speed transmission. Ram 1500 truck does NOT offer a diesel engine.

The Regular Cab, with 2 full-sized front doors, seats 3, is available with a 79.4" Standard Bed or a 98.2" Long Bed length, and with 71.7 cu ft or 89.1 cu ft of bed cargo volume. The Double Cab, with 2 full-sized front doors and 2 smaller rear doors, seats 6, is available with a 79.4" Standard Bed with 71.7 cu ft of bed cargo volume. The Crew Cab, with 4 full-sized doors, seats 6, is available with a 5'10" (69.92") Short Bed or 6'7.44" (79.44") Standard Bed, and with 52.8 cu ft or 62.9 cu ft of bed cargo volume.  All truck beds are 71.40" wide (50.63" wide at wheelhousing) and 22.4 in high.

RAM Quad Cab, with 2 full-sized front doors and 2 smaller rear doors, seats 6, has 117 cu ft of passenger volume, and is only available with a 6.4' bed with 61.5 cu ft of bed cargo volume. RAM Crew Cab, with 4 full-sized doors, seats 6, has 132 cu ft of passenger volume, and is available with a 5'7" or 6'4" bed with 53.9 cu ft or 61.5 cu ft of bed cargo volume.  All RAM 1500 truck beds are 51.0" wide at wheelhouse and 21.4" high.
